I found this game on Lecram Sinun’s page, and it seemed like a fun time! Here are the rules.
1. FLIP open a dictionary and point to a word.
2. Type the word into Google images.
3. PICK an image that strikes you.
4. Write a 10 line RIFF off the image.
5. Use the word or the meaning of the word at least once within the first 5 lines of your riff.
6. Tag 3 other bloggers on your list.
MY WORD: DISCONTENT
The door opened with a loud creak. She tossed her keys on the coffee table, and made her way to the kitchen, leaving a trail of clothing behind her. There it was – the champagne on ice, just as she had left it a couple of hours before. She had been right. She’d be needing this bubbly tonight, but not for the reasons she had first anticipated. Samuel hadn’t proposed at dinner. He had ended their three year relationship. Discontent. That’s the word he had used. Discontent. Sure, they’d had their problems, but doesn’t every couple have problems? She would have given her own soul to save his, but he wasn’t willing to give her one more chance to prove her love for him? “Life is so unfair,” she thought as she settled onto the couch, glass in hand. She poured the champagne, and as it touched her lips, a tear rolled down her cheek. She picked up the phone and called the one man who would understand. “Lecram, he’s gone. And he took my life with him.”
