A little update on my life…
The plumbing problems returned, requiring some major repairs - to the tune of $1500! This is in addition to the $800 I paid two weeks ago and the $200 I paid a few days ago! The main sewer line had to be dug up and some of it replaced. There were huge tree roots growing into it. Anyway, everything is now repaired, and I have been assured that I will not experience these problems again. The plumbers even concreted around the replaced pipe!
I dropped the summer class I was planning on taking. I just have too much going on at the time to bother with it. I will still be taking three classes in the fall though - Accounting I, Healthcare Facility Management, and Management Information Systems. Two of the classes are online, and the other meets on Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 8:45.
My date on Friday went very well. I had an awesome time! We went to a great little Mexican restaurant that had the absolute BEST food! Then we went out for homemade icecream. We sat on the patio, ate our icecream, told ghost stories, and had a staredown contest. LOL. Good times! I’ve talked to him several times since, and I’ll be seeing him again this coming Friday. Our work schedules overlap, so weekends are the only times that we will be able to get together.
I went to another Smokies baseball game with my friends last night. Had a blast! We’ll probably go again on the 18th. Anyone interested in attending, let me know! And by the way, I’ll be posting some pics from last night’s game soon.
