Lately, I’ve had several discussions with friends concerning age differences within a relationship. Just how important is it to find someone close to your own age?
The oldest guy that I have been involved with was 4 years older than me. I think he is the only guy I’ve dated who was older than myself. I’ve always had a fondness for younger guys. But just how young is too young? The youngest guy I have dated was 6 years younger than me, and we got along very well. My friends tell me that I shouldn’t choose who I date (or don’t date) based on age - that age is only a number and means nothing in the end. Do you guys agree?
I like guys who can make me laugh. Guys with nice smiles. Guys who are young at heart and not so uptight about everything. I like guys with sweet dispositions who don’t mind saying mushy things to me from time to time. And I like guys who love movies as much as I do. Affection is also very important to me. I like a guy who doesn’t mind holding my hand or giving me a kiss in public. So I guess if I meet a younger guy who has these qualities, then yes, I’d probably date him. And believe me - I am so ready to find a nice guy!
