Anthony Hopkins said it best in “Meet Joe Black”. His words seem to speak to me each time I watch this movie. I will always remember them, because they describe exactly how I hope to feel when Mr. Right decides to walk into my life.
“I want you to get swept away. I want you to levitate. I want you to sing with rapture and dance like a dervish. Be deliriously happy, or at least leave yourself open to be. I know it’s a cornball thing, but love is passion, obsession. I say fall head over heels. Find someone you can love like crazy and who will love you the same way back. How do you find him? Well, forget your head and listen to your heart. The truth is, honey, there is no sense in living your life without this. To make the journey and not fall deeply in love… well, you haven’t lived a life at all. But you have to try, because if you haven’t tried, you haven’t lived. Stay open. Who knows? Lightning could strike.”
My friends call me a dreamer, and I guess they are right. I have this crazy idea in my head - that I will know the instant I meet my soulmate. It will be like two worlds colliding - a cosmic explosion that opens my eyes to wonders yet unimaginable. I am not looking for a perfect man - only perfect for me. And when I find him, I plan on doing everything in my power to keep him. I am a true romantic - loving and devoted till the end. Blame it on my zodiac sign! We Cancers are some of the most loyal and caring people you will ever meet. And unfortunately, most other signs don’t really see things the way we do. Love is the most important thing in life to me. I’d choose it over all the riches in the world. There is no doubt in my mind about that. Now if I could only find a guy who feels the same way!

I fought with myself as to whether or not to comment (don’t even ask how I managed to end up here, on your site) but in the end I decided I had to… Even if it was just to let you know that there is at least one person out there who thinks as you do about love, life and fate.
I really like how you write and especially that you use “when” and not “if” where you’re describing meeting your other half…
Oh and thanks btw, I had nearly lost hope that, in this new-world where love seems to take a back seat, I was the only one.
I hope that you’ve found the love of your life by now. If not I’m sure he’s right around the corner.
